A quick search on google or any search engines will lead you to programs that will allow you to download television shows, music, movies, and more. One example of these programs is Frostwire. FrostWire is a application in which you can find and download free material. Once you install the application, all you have to do is search for a song or an artist’s name. A list of choices relating to the searched term will pop up. After picking from the options, the song will start downloading. After the download is complete, it will appear in your iTunes library. Another site to download content is YIFY Torrents, or yts.re. This application can be used to download movies. Just look up a movie, and then the movie will download in the same way that music on FrostWire does. However, since movies are quite longer in length than a song, movies might take up longer time to download. The internet provides a circuitous way to download our favorite songs and media without spending any money.

I think that BitTorrent is an effective alternative to buying media. To my knowledge, applications like MP3 downloaders are useful and efficient. It honestly is the same quality as songs that could be bought on iTunes For the most part, BitTorrent is used properly and saves money. The only issue that I have is that the artist or production company does not receive anything from return. They don’t receive the money that people spend on iTunes or payable websites. For the general public, BitTorrent is a money saver and is great for downloading free content.
